About Me

Experience

With over 25 years of experience in the publishing industry, I’m an Art Manager who thrives on bringing creative visions to life. I’ve had the privilege of both commissioning stunning visuals and creating impactful art myself. I’m a master at delivering crystal-clear specs to artists, aligning design and editorial expectations to ensure every project hits the mark. I manage a dynamic team of in-house and freelance art buyers, collaborating seamlessly with design, editorial, and production teams to ensure that every piece—whether for digital or print—is visually striking, precise, and authentic. My work is all about blending creativity with strategy to produce work that’s not just beautiful, but truly effective and impactful.

Specialties

I’m a passionate Art Manager who excels at finding the perfect artist for every project, working closely with them to bring their vision to life—ensuring the art is not only stunning, but spot-on and delivered right on schedule. I craft detailed, annotated tech specs and style guides that provide clear direction and inspire creativity, while keeping everything on track. I’ve got a knack for building custom tracking databases to stay on top of specs, timelines, and budgets, so nothing slips through the cracks. I’m also meticulous about processing invoices quickly, making sure artists are paid on time and budgets stay healthy. Plus, I take pride in making all art accessible to every student, ensuring it resonates with diverse audiences. Every project I touch is all about precision, creativity, and delivering on every promise—no matter the challenge.
