About Me

Experience

I am an experienced Art Manager with over 20 years in the publishing industry. I have first hand experience with commissioning images, as well as creating art. I am responsible for clear spec delivery to artists based on design & editorial specs, ensuring quality expectations are met. I am involved with managing in-house and freelance art buyers. I work in conjunction with design, editorial, and production to deliver accurate, clean, sophisticated, readable, and authentic use on digital devices and print.

Specialties

I specialize in researching appropriate artists for any project, working with them closely to ensure the art is accurate, beautiful, and delivered on-time. I create annotated and detailed tech art specifications and style guides for every project. I can create custom tracking databases to keep track of specs, schedule, and budget. I can process all invoices in a timely manner ensuring that artists get paid and budgets are up to date. I am also proficient in making all art accessible for all students.
